I’m Katie Dalton, a sports creative and storyteller at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where I study Journalism with minors in Business, Advertising, and Sports Media.
I bring the heat to the table, just not the spicy kind because I can't handle that. I'm an Adobe fiend who spends hours diving into the latest editing trends. I thrive in high-energy environments and love being a team player, just don’t expect me to be a benchwarmer.
After my athletic career was cut short due to head injuries in high school, I found a new passion behind the camera.
My ultimate goal is to help athletes express who they are beyond the field, court, rink, etc. When I’m not creating, you’ll find me hiking, traveling, or playing pickup sports. I’m always up for an adventure or a coffee chat. Just know there’s a good chance I’ll film it, color grade it, and add music to it by the end of the day.
